Student Council Investiture POSTPONED

Hi all,


I would like to made known Mr Lim's tagboard message here, so that you guys DONT miss it.

The council investiture has been POSTPONED to the 20th of April, which is on a Friday.

Details of what time it will be will be worked out pretty soon. This is so that most of the school will be able to make it for the investiture.


So publicity comm. members, sorry but you'll have to scramble to email all the other schools about the date being pushed back.
For all the comms, this would allow you guys more time to iron out all the nitty-gritty details not tackled yet and for you all to plan more rehearsals. Perhaps during or after this Friday's meeting?

Comm. leaders, use this time very wisely. I think its also good for you guys too to take a very short breather and study for the tests coming up. Other than that, I think that you guys and your comm. members have done a very wonderful job with the preparations so far. Give yourselves a pat on the shoulder.


For the rest of the council, we'd like your cooperation by attending the rehearsals that will be arranged, with the upcoming one this Saturday. (30th April) Its a weekend, and we appreciate you coming down for this as this will familiarise yourselves with the sequence of the investiture. Other rehearsals will be planned during the weekdays as well, so do try your best to come down.



Also, there will be an addition of 17 more councillors that will join our family real soon. The selections were organised by our teachers in charge, Mrs Singh and Mr Lim. Kudos to them for their hard work.

Reminder

Dear all Sec 2 Councillors doing flag raising duty this week,

There would not be any duty for you all this week as you all have not been trained to raise the flag and command and do the pledge. The Sec 3s would be doing first this week and I beseech you all to listen and observe the seniors. And to all Councillors, please take a look at the Council notice board for the new duty roster.
